Bangs Music Distro (“BMD”) respects the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that content available on our platform infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown request.
This process is commonly referred to as a “DMCA-style” notice. We apply similar best-practice requirements to reduce fraudulent or incomplete claims.

Subject line suggestion: Copyright Takedown Notice
Your notice must include
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- Identification of the allegedly infringing material and where it appears on BMD (URL(s) required).
- Your contact information (full name, email, and phone number).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
- Your physical or electronic signature (typing your full legal name is acceptable for electronic submissions).
Counter-notification
If your content was removed and you believe it was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice.

Your counter-notice should include
- Identification of the material that was removed and where it appeared before removal.
- Your contact information (name, email, phone).
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your electronic signature (typing your legal name).
Repeat infringers
Where appropriate, BMD may terminate accounts that repeatedly infringe the rights of others or repeatedly receive valid takedown notices.
